I am appalled by the priority given to social media (and its agents) every second of the day. What is the first thing that you do when you wake up? Do you even bother to say thanks to the Almighty God that death didn't swallow you up in the night? Do you even make your bed, wash your face and brush your teeth, or do you even care if you have breakfast or not?
Or do you with pride take pleasure in making-up with your "NEW BEST BUDDY"(facebook) and cuddle in it's arms for another couple hours or the whole day? While neglecting the things or the person that matters most to you.
You indulge in checking statues that is most time not worth your time.
Statuses of strangers that doesn't worth a dime.
Statuses that most times is a crime
because it is often filled with insult or disdain,
projecting gossip as a world of fame.
Making "privacy" a public game.
What about hatred and the procreation of lies.
Its all in the package of a deceitful reign.
Love and relationship has become a laughing stock.
The meaning of communication and trust is mesmerized
under the FB spell.
Be carful how you play your cards.
`The time it takes to check every status
Or writing a new one
Doesn't have the value of the time spent with God.
What is your status with God?
Please don't get lost in the world of social media '
only to end up as a rich man with no crown.
What you live for is what you will die for!
Be mindful today of how you use social media.
Don't let it rule your day.
Have you thought about your status?
What is it that really matters to you, Facebook logins
or making God smile?
Let your status with God be unchanging, and make a difference in the world.
Make Him your first priority and see how your status in life will change through it all.
JESUS first. Everything else come after.
You know what they say...when you love, you will show it! "Actions speaks louder than word."
