Every step we take requires some form of courage. When we are fearless it is easier for us to move forward. I don't think any of us is naturally completely fearless because life is filled with so many fears, and this is why we need courage. Courage is a strong character trait that is learned and built through the test of time. It is a steadfast step of faith to reach out and conquer no matter what the opposition may be. Every challenge is stepping stone to victory or betterment. Courage is to get up and to do what you thought you never could accomplish. "Doing what you fear." It is the 'C' that you need to be committed in anything you do. Courage is the ability to stand strong and move on amidst the distress and disappoi-
ntments. It is God's graceful empowerment for us in our weakness.
fear the most should be your motivation. The object of fear is always your hindrance. So how can you overcome them? The set backs is only as big as you see them. Courage never depends on perfection. She is motivated best by challenges, since "courage is the quality of the mind or spirit to face difficulty in any situation."
I believe that the most courageous persons are the ones who takes refuge in God. They take risks! Think about the devoted the firefighters. They display great bravery in spite of the possible dangers. True courage is gained through dependency on God's power to take you through the test of time. God will give you the courage to stand in the most awkward, difficult or humiliating situation, if you trust Him. So be strong and courageous! You have the greatest warrior on your side and He will not let you down. Sometimes God uses the things we fear the most to bring glory unto Himself because His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS!
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:7-9 “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
