Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Ecclesiastes 11:1- ESV
The wise man, Solomon urges those who have to give freely and willingly to those who do not have. Some people find it hard to give to the poor but the good of our labor is no good if it doesn't benefit others. Everyone of us must labor to be a blessing in the providence where God has placed us.
Don't be negligent in your giving and your energy. What you sow, you'll reap. Every day is not a sunday. What you have is scarcley yours... ultimately your life and your posessions belongs to God. So be careful how you treat others, you just might be that friend in need.
You may not be able to give to all, but give to many. It may often feel like you're wasting your time investing in the life of others because you doubt the effect or success We fail to take a chance to do do good because we are often uncertain about the value of what we put in . Moreover, we tend to be more concerned about what we may loose than what we can give.
I don't doubt, we have reason to expect evil because we were born to trouble. But it is wise to do good in the day of prosperity. "Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life." Ecciasstics 7:14-NLT
Take a chance! Endeavor to perform good deeds, even if it may seem like it's a lost. This is a call to believe that your good deeds will ultimately benefit you.
