"...yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread." Psalm 37:25-ESV
For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.
We have all experienced the feeling of neglect at some point in our lives. There seem to be however, a continuous, sometimes overwhelming attack of feeling abandoned by God. In all honesty even the most spiritual person do at times. We tend to feel neglected if we don't have an appropriate response, an immediate answer, if we keep on searching but there is no answer. In connection to God, I think we often feel abandoned when our expectations are not met.
Let me pause for a moment to ask.: "Is abandonment at this point a state of mind or truly a fact?"
You think God has forgotten about you because you don't see the answer to your prayer, You don't have the desire of your heart just yet, you have not received and you feel like you should have already received. You think God has forgotten you because you don't feel HIM, or is it simply because you fail to recognize His evident faithful presence and power in the small areas in your life?
