This verse brings us to Matthew 6:25 and 34 where Jesus said take no thought of tomorrow. All of your worries and all your fears for today and tomorrow; may sink you to the ground if you are not careful with how you handle it. When we face dangers of life it is very possible to sink below our anxieties in mere levity or thoughtlessness. But we can rise above them if we cast our cares on Jesus who cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
You can allow prayer to guide your day and with praise to God for what He is going to do for you.
By doing this we show our confidence in God, and it give us a sense of dependence on Him who will provide us with all that we need. If we express our wants to God and we praise and thank Him for what He is already doing and will do for us; we are declaring our hope and faith in Him. If you rejoice in your afflictions, it show that you have an undeniable trust in the one who holds tomorrow and no matter what may come your way, you know you can count on Him. You will have a peace in your heart that surpasses all understanding and that peace will keep you focused on the giver of all things rather than your needs or wants.
So today, let prayer and supplication with thanksgiving be apart of your diet and experience God's blessings and power in your life in the midst of all troubles.
