What do you do in your spare time or with the opportunities you receive? If you leave room for the devil to play he will devour your life and leave you in shambles. You will gain no real profit by allowing yourself to be used to carry out his evil plans. This form of idleness may come out in the conversations we hold...the things we look at...the things we do...the things we think.
On the contrary, those who make use of their time and energy wisely will gain the rewards of their hard work. Your level of productivity or success in life (each day) will depend a lot how well you use your time and abilities. Proverbs 10:4 says, "The one who is lazy becomes poor, but the one who works diligently becomes wealthy." NET Bible Do not expect to sit idle or have a slack hand and expect to reap bountifully. Success comes through hard work and f any one of us wants to succeed in anything we must work diligently towards our goals. You may not be good at everything but whatever we do we must do it with all of our heart.
Tips: If you get involved in anything ask: Will it glorify God? Is it edifying to you and those involved? Is it profitable? Colossians 3:23-25 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism." If you sow idleness then you will reap idleness. If you put in hard work you reap the fruit of your labor. Galatians 6:7 "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap." So work hard get rich. Be idle reap nothing! Profit or no gain. Choose your end.
