Where weakness abounds God's Grace much more abound. Grace works best in our weaknesses. If we never had a weakness, if we were "perfect" then we would not have experienced grace and witness the power of God in our lives. God knows our imperfections. But sometimes we struggle to accept them and instead of relying on God who is perfect, and does all things well and gives grace to survive; we often try to fix our own imperfections or try to perfect our weaknesses. Yet we fail miserably when we try to do it on our own. Often our greatest hindrance to success is ourselves because we fail to accept that we are in need of help. Through our weaknesses God is teaching us to rely on Him. It is an opportunity for us to recognize our crucial need for Him in our lives daily.
When God says that he will not give us more than we can bear, He implies that no matter how overbearing or difficult something might to us. There is a way to make it work because He knows that He is bigger than your problems. Your problems won't control you because He will give everything that you need to go through it or to overcome your weakness. His grace is not given to a chosen people, He gives grace to all. "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not." They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV). Thank God for His Grace!
