"It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes." (Psalm 119:71).
The tests and trials of life come to make us stronger. It is said that experience is the best teacher. This has proven true in my own life. You can't have an education if you aren't taught; you can't have a job without education (this includes skills development); nor can you have life without the Creator. The difficult times we face are stepping stones in our lives. We may have many disappointments and sorrows but our failures or 'feelings of failures' are not a sign that our life is over. Or at least it should not be viewed that way. Instead, take an about turn and realize that whatever you've been through, whatever you go through in life (failure or success), God is with you always and loves you with an everlasting love. Understand that when everything and the people whom you trust in and loves give up on you, remember that JESUS NEVER FAILS!
In the darkest hour, there is one who cares and loves you no matter what! "The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." Jeremiah 31:3-NIV When the devil tells you that all hope is lost, remind Him that you serve a God who gives secured hope to the hopeless (Psalm 119:49).
God uses those times of difficulty to draw us closer to Him, to recognize His Power, so that we can experience His unchanging, unending love and goodness. God proves to us His Faithlessness through the times of desperation in our lives. If we don't ever have needs and go through hardships in life then we would not be able to experience and know how unfailing God is because then we would have no need for a redeemer. Our need for a supernatural intervention in our lives is elevated by the tests and trials of life, however we do need God's constant care and love even when things are good. But the high point is to realize that Jesus Christ will never fail you, even when we would have given up on God, His love still endures.
The author of the following song, "Jesus Never Fails" experienced Jesus' unfailing love power and love in His own life.
"Earthly friends may prove untrue, doubts and fears assail;
One still loves and cares for you, one who will not fail.
Tho’ the sky be dark and drear, fierce and strong the gale,
Just remember He is near, and He will not fail.
In life’s dark and bitter hour love will still prevail,
Trust His everlasting pow’r—Jesus never fails.
Jesus never fails, Jesus never fails; Heav’n and earth may pass away, but Jesus never fails."
