Life generally requires a substantial amount of faith. We face daily circumstances in which our faith is often tried. In Hebrews chapter 11, we observe that God's people exercised faith in various circumstances. "By faith..." is repeatedly used to show that faith was an important supplement for receiving the hope of things the unseen. We pray to God by faith; "we by faith understand that the universe was created by the Word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible" (Hebrews 11: 3).
Faith is not just believing, it is accepting God's grace to wait patiently for the things we do not see. I have learned that there are three pillars of faith.
1)Faith believes what God says.
2)Faith obeys God's commands.
3)Faith trust in and rest on His promises.
Faith is an engine that will keep us living. Eventually we will pass all test of time and receive the things that we hoped for. You may be facing a seemingly impossible situation but your faith can bring life to the impossible. May be all you need to do right now is to trust God (we ought to trust Him always) and be patient (Romans 8:25). If you do not have faith in anything else or anyone else believe in God. Your faith in Him will bring you good.
I encourage you today to step out in faith, start believing that in the midst of all chaos, and in the midst of the difficult times that there is hope. When we pray we must believe in God, in order to experience the hope of our faith. So if you want to see God work a miracle in your life or in a friend's life you must believe in God. "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him" (Hebrews 11:6)-ESV. Live by faith, not by sight!
