In any case, we often take for guaranteed the things that we do and how we execute our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Do you know that everything you do today will most likely be alive tomorrow? Why?- Because it's being marked down in "history's memory lane".
At this point in your life, can you genuinely think of any thing that you probably have done that will have a lasting, positive, influential impact on others? If not, you need to take some time and re-evaluate your-self. Christians must live up to a 'standard of influence' in such a way that it will be a memory that will infect generations after generations.
Mathew 26:13 "Assuredly, I say unto you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial of her."
The use of expensive oil in this manner was usual. In this instance, it was an act of courage and love. Is your Christian life one of extraordinary action for your KING? Are you willing to sacrifice anything to
be with God? Are you giving Him your best of the best? As we look to create memories of earthly relationships, we should endeavor to create the best memories with God.
Another thing to consider:
Am I living in such a way that would create memories of me that the others will want to remember?
Let us give the world something to remember!
- Be yourself.
- Be creative.
- Do your best.
- Think of others.
- Never given less than what you have.
- Treat others the way you will like to be treated.
- Know what you want in life and set goals.
- Be ready to serve anytime, anywhere!
- Go out of your way to make others happy! YES! :)
- Jesus did it and many other in His time. So, we can do it too!
